After the house had been on the market for a while, you suggested we lower the price a bit and gave us the reasons for this. Two days after the price reduction the house was under agreement. I was amazed that in this difficult market that the house sold in 3 months time.

Being a top producer you had knowledge, commitment and resources to advertise our home consistently and in the markets where it was in our best interest to advertise in. The personal effort exhibited by you in providing weekly updates to us was outstanding and very helpful. Reading this information each week helped us to make informed decisions regarding the listing price of our property because we understood the pulse of the market. I also have to stop here for a moment and highlight a very unusual act for a real estate agent to take. We had approached you several times thinking that maybe we should lower the price of our home to move it faster. Each time you advised us to hold firm because you knew that in a declining market the offers were going to come in low regardless of the listing price. You calibrated keeping that price high enough to achieve the amount we really wanted after a low bid, but low enough not to scare people away from the property. Selling a home requires skill, especially in a down market, and you made the right call. Almost any agent will reduce the cost without hesitation just to move it and make their commission. This act proved your allegiance to your clients over personal gain, a rare find in today's world. We thank you for your service and the friendship that developed throughout this experience.
